C&G Cladding Supports Heart Heroes – Making a Difference One Job at a Time

At C&G Cladding, we‘re not just committed to improving homes; we’re also dedicated to making a difference in the lives of families affected by heart conditions through our partnership with Heart Heroes.

For every job we complete, we donate £20 to this incredible cause

We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for over three decades. That’s why for every job we undertake, C&G Cladding donates £20 to Heart Heroes. This charity is close to our hearts, supporting over 1,000 families across the UK and Wales, including 238 in our own backyard of Gloucestershire. These families are navigating the challenges of life-limiting or life-threatening heart conditions, and our contributions help fund specialist activities and events for these critically vulnerable children and their families.

About Heart Heroes

Heart Heroes (HH) are currently supporting 1,032 families across the UK and Wales – with 238 of those living in and around Gloucestershire – affected by a life limiting or life-threatening Heart Condition. We offer specialist activities and events for critically vulnerable children and their families, encouraging peer support and inclusivity so that no family faces their difficult journey alone.

Heart Heroes offers support through a number of channels, including organising inclusive, memory-making events and activities suitable for affected children, who often struggle with shortness of breath, low stamina and poor immunity. The events are run by volunteers and professionals who are aware of the implications of conditions and the additional needs of children living with a heart condition, and with the focus being helping children to take part in activities as equals with their siblings and to feel ‘normal’.

Heart Heroes also provides shared support networks for parents and virtual/in person counselling sessions on a regular basis or as and when needed. The aim is to support parents by developing their practical understanding of conditions, how to manage care and with a focus on improving mental health and wellbeing.  As one parent commented: “Friends at Heart Heroes just get it. Their events take the pressure off explaining to people.”
