Dear Ian,
The dust having settled and Kevin checked that all is OK I write to let you know just how well things went and how very pleased I am with the results.
I needed quite a lot of work done to my home (New flat roof, New double glazing throughout; Pitched roof repairs with new PVC FSG) and wanted C and G Cladding to do the work because eight years ago you did the gable on my bungalow and it’s still by far and away the best looking around here. From little contracts do grow big contracts.
You may imagine that when spending a large amount of money on important work I would be concerned that I had made the right decision. I need not have worried. Kevin spent all the time I needed to advise and help me specify exactly what was wanted and when work commenced everything proceeded so smoothly and there was such a good. friendly atmosphere on site. If you have one of those ghastly “How Did We Do?” forms, tick all the excellent boxes.
However, there is something in particular that I would like to bring to your attention; and that is clarity. Clarity in thought and clarity in purpose. Every member of your staff with whom I have been in contact, whether in person, on the telephone or by letter and email has evinced clarity. It comes from people knowing exactly what they need to do and how to do it. At all times I was told what work was being done and how it was to be carried out. Whenever I was asked to make a decision concerning the work I was given the alternatives and advised which was the best practical solution, and why. No waffle, no mumbling. This matters because it instills confidence in the customer and customer confidence is so important. Well done!
When all’s said and done though, it boils down to one question; have I spent my money wisely? Yes.
Thank you.
